About Ann Keisling
Several years ago I purchased an Olympus DLSR camera and before I knew it became hooked on photography. My husband Don and I share this hobby and take as many trips as possible around the country capturing our visions of the world around us.
Living in North Carolina, I am close to not only the beach, but the mountains as well. I enjoy visiting botanical gardens where photographing flowers is one of my favorite things. I love capturing landscapes and animal images. I am always on the hunt for that perfect slow water shot when photographing waterfalls. My husband and I usually have a little competition to see who can get that first bee or butterfly shot of the season.
I am not a professional and steer away from formal portrait photography such as weddings and things like that.
I have shot with several different cameras and now currently use a Nikon D5500. I also admit that there are times when I get frustrated in figuring out which settings to shoot with and switch it into auto mode.
I have found that this is a hobby people of any age can enjoy. There is no perfect shot except in the eye of the photographer capturing it. It's art and we all have our own vision.
I hope you enjoy looking at my images.
